William Wegman

William Wegman is a photographer who uses backgrounds in a interesting way to add onto the photograph. His photographs, usually ones with dogs, are not simple. He is mostly a studio based photographer who alters most of his orgiinal photos into ones he likes. For example, he will take an intresting picture of a dog in dark light, then use the darkness of the background to create something new. He will either make the dog darker, interwtwining the subject of the photo with the background, or he will alter the subject by adding interest
ing desgins onto it. Likewise to the dark photo, Wegman also uses his studio designs to create more dogs in the photograph then when he first shot it. He copies the dog from the original photo and creates an another subject by adding a second dog onto the photograph. After adding
the second subject (the dog), Wegman uses the background to add onto to what the dog
is doing.
Furthermore, William Wegman uses his dogs and other subjects to make the phographs more itneresting. For some of his photos, he willl have a dog in a certain pose, with another subject added into the photograph. For example, in one of his photos, Wegman took a picture of a dog standing with his head faced down in a old rams skull. This certain rams skull looked as though it was the dogs head, making both subjects more itnersting for the onlooker of the photograph. Likewise to the photograph below, Wegman uses many o his dogs in a certain pose to create a more intricate scene. He will add other objects like he has in the one below and make the photograph more interesting.

street photography writing assignment

In this Photograph, random civilians in Coney island took their kids to the beach. The people in the photograph are random civilians. this photograph was taken during the 1970s at the Coney island beach. before the photographer took the photo, the women in the red shirt prepared her daughter to dip into the water, and the other civilians were chatting amongst one another. afterward, the daughter got fully soaked in the water, and the lady in the white shirt with her daughter soaked her baby as well. Candice wanted to take her baby to Coney island for a look at the beach. while there, she dipped her baby in the stone walled pool and met other mothers as well.
In this photo, two men are having a dance competition in the middle of the sidewalk, but have prepared for it because of the wooden floor over the concrete. this photograph was taken in the middle of Los Angeles on 2005. Before the photograph was taken, both men did a series of dance moves like some shown in the photo. Afterward, the man in white pants fell down and the guy in the black pants won. John and Teddy, best friends, decided to have a dance competition in downtown LA in the middle of the sidewalk in 2005. John, in the black pants, won the competition.

In this picture, what seems like many chinese or asian civilians are all bundles up on one stone lodge as if they were protecting themselves from falling. this photo was taken in a downtown area in a asian country and during the 1950s. Before the photographer took the picture, the same thing was happenning. all of the people were still fighting and protecting themselves from falling. Afterwards, all of the people stayed the same and did not move. they still faught and argued with one another in a minuscule area. Lucille Hong and her extended family faught other civilians in downtown china to reserve a spot on the stone lodge.
